Share Your Favourite Paddle Spots PaddleFinder
Have a go-to launch spot you swear by? Discovered a hidden cove that deserves more love? Or maybe you’ve come across a tricky hazard other paddlers should be warned about? Now, with the latest PaddlePal update, you can add your own PaddlePoints directly to the PaddleFinder map — and help the whole community paddle smarter and safer.
Why Share PaddlePoints?
PaddlePal was built to connect paddlers with better data — weather, tides, routes, and now… community knowledge. Whether you’re sharing a scenic stop, a helpful amenity, or a tricky current to watch out for, your PaddlePoint helps others plan better adventures.
Think of it as your chance to leave a little breadcrumb on the water for the next person who launches their board.
How to Add a New PaddlePoint
It’s super simple to contribute:
Open PaddlePal and tap on PaddleFinder in the bottom tab bar.
Tap the ➕ Plus button at the top right of the screen.
Move the map until the marker is over the exact location you want to submit.
Give it a title, like “Weymouth Harbour” or “Flatwater Gem”.
Choose the type of PaddlePoint — this could be a launch site, point of interest, or even a hazard.
Add any amenities you know of: parking, toilets, cafés, etc.
Hit Save — and you’re done!
Your PaddlePoint will go through a quick review by our team to ensure accuracy and safety. Once approved, it will appear on the PaddleFinder map for all users to explore.
Built By Paddlers, For Paddlers
This is just the beginning. As more of you add your own PaddlePoints, PaddleFinder becomes more powerful, useful, and alive. It’s a tool by the community, for the community — helping paddlers everywhere discover better routes, safer launches, and secret spots.
